Sorry to barge in on your group like this ! I've just come into possession
of a banjo from the early 1900's (I don't know the exact year). It's marked
on the back "The New Windsor Patent Zither Banjo, A O Windsor maker 94
Newhall st Birmingham England". it also has it's original case. Has anyone
heard of this model before, and more importantly, (cue Antiques Roadshow
moment), is it worth anything. Any info would be much appreciated
Yes I have the same. It was left to my son when he was 2 and is now 23, The badge is on the front and No: 11 on the chrome button on the back. What i do know is I have the original owner and all his details typed inside the Banjo case and in it's original case... I am trying to find out more info.. If i do find anything out i will let you know!
